Welcome to Voiture 1067 du Goose Creek, South Carolina

We are glad you are interested in visiting our Voiture Web Site. We are located in Goose Creek, SC not far from Charleston. We reside at American Legion Post 166 on Howe Hall Road. The purpose of this web site is to get information out to all of the Tech Savvy folks that have a computer and aren't afraid to move forward into the 21st century. On this site you will find information regarding the Famous Goose Creek Gator Wreck that occurs on the first Weekend after Mother's Day each year in May. We also have a Forum where you are welcome to join and post your information, provide comments, or just start up a conversation. You only need a valid email address to join.

Other items of interest are the Chef De Gare's Corner where we post monthly comments. Feel free to explore the site or contact me.

Yours Truly,

What is the Forty & Eight

La Societe des Quarante Hommes et Huit Chevaux is an independent fraternal organization of U. S. veterans, more commonly known as the Forty & Eight.

The Forty & Eight was formed in 1920 by American Legionnaires as an honor society, and it is committed to charitable aims. Membership is by invitation for members of the American Legion who have shown exemplary service. All Forty & Eight members are veterans of congressionally recognized wartime periods via their Legion membership.
