Voiture 719 Du Georgia is having their Wreck in Augusta, GA on November 2 - 4, 2007.  The headquarters motel is the Augusta Inn, located at 1075 Stevens Creek Road Augusta, GA 30907. Take Exit 65, Washington Road Exit. Room rates are $49.95 plus tax per night.  Reservations can be made by calling 1-(706)855-6060.  Be sure to tell them you are with the Forty and Eight.

 

Important Note: If you are arriving on I-20, the ramps for the interstate and Bobby Jones Expressway may be closed due to construction. Get off at the Walton Way Extension and turn right to Scott-Nixon Road (first traffic light after exiting interstate). Turn left and proceed across Bobby Jones Expressway and turn right on Frontage Road.

 

The hospitality room will be at the motel until about 4:00 p.m. Registration is $30.00 per person.  All events will take place at American Legion Post 178, 3219 Richmond Hill Road, phone: 1-(706)-793-1724.

7:30 P.M. - P.G.'s report to Wrecking Crew, American Legion Post 178
8:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M. Registration at American Legion Post 178
8:00 P.M. - P.G.'s receive first oath
8:15 P.M. - ? P. G. trials
 
SATURDAY
6:00 A.M. - P.G.'s report to Wrecking Crew, American Legion Post 178 flagpole
7:00 A.M. - 7:45 A.M. P.G., Wrecking Crew breakfast
7:00 A.M. - 9:00 A.M. Breakfast at nominal cost
8:30 A.M. - 8:50 A.M. First Degree of Initiation
8:50 A.M. P.G.'s and Wrecking Crew depart
9:00 A.M. - 11:30 A.M. Street corner collection
10:00 A.M. - 12:00 Noon  Registration at American Legion Post 178 lounge area.
11:30 A.M. - 12:00 Noon Return to Post 178 and turn in collections to Commissaire Intendant
11:30 A.M. - 2:00 P.M. Lunch by C-719, hamburgers, hotdogs, chili, potato chips. Pay as you go.                                        
12:00 Noon - 12:30 P. M. Second Degree of Initiation
12:30 P.M. - 1:45 P. M. P.G. lunch and inside work
1:50 P.M. - 3:00 P.M. Third Degree of Initiation
 
SATURDAY EVENING

8:00 P.M. - 8:30 P. M. Awarding of paraphernalia to New P.G.'s Passe

NOTE 1: The Hospitality Room will not reopen Friday evening after trials and will not be open on Saturday or Sunday.
 
NOTE 2: Sons Of The American Legion Squadron 205 will provide shuttle service between the Headquarters Hotel and American Legion Post 178 for tips. The front desk at the Headquarters Hotel will have telephone numbers for the drivers.
 
NOTE 3: No other organizations other than V-719 and C-719 will be allowed to conduct any drawings.
 
NOTE 4: Any P.G.'s arriving from outside of V-719 is advised to leave any monies collected within their home Voiture Locale is advised to leave those collections with their home voiture. All monies collected in Augusta will go to V-719 for their various programs.
