Get ready for a busy year in 2010. We are already planning for 2011 Southland Dixie to be held here in April 2011. Lot of work ahead of us. I will be setting up committees and committee chair persons for this event. It is going to take all of us in a combined effort to make this successful.

January will be busy. The big event is the Joint Carolinas in Charlotte April 22nd-24th. Hope to see a good turn out from us in support of this. We
will be putting on the Wreck and also doing the Ritual. Speaking of Ritual, the ritual team is having practices on the 4th, 11th and 14th of January.

Team members mark your calendar. There will be a Gator Wreck meeting on the 17th at 1300 hrs at the Post.

Our next Promenade will be Jan. 26, 2010. This will be the start of a very busy year for all. A GOLDEN opportunity to get involved to help and support in preparing of Southland Dixie Promenade 2011.

Membership is going good but could be better. If you haven’t renewed your membership, please do so now. We need 100%.

Other events for January….

VA Hospital Visit—13th— Start the year off right and join us in our monthly visit to our veterans who are in the hospital. We will depart from the Post around 6:15.
