Hello from the Chef de Gare,

The 26th Annual GATOR WRECK is in the books and was a great success. Thanks to the hard work of the Ritual crew and Wrecking crew for the outstanding job that they always do. Also a HUGE THANK YOU must go to our La Femmes for an outstanding job with the decorations, hospitality room, and everything else that our ladies did for the Wreck. Again, I THANK YOU.

Congratulations to our new Voyageures, Erin Coston, Tim Coston, Bobby Horne, and John Nance. Looking forward to getting each of you involved in our different programs and events.

Speaking of events, we are not slowing down, for we are now preparing for JOINT CAROLINAS in January 2011 and SOUTHLANDS DIXIE in April 2011. There will be meetings to attend and fund raisers to be held. We are going to be busy so roll your sleeves up and help out when called upon.

We will be having the installation of Officers and banquet on the 12th June. Hope to see you there. The following Voyageures were nominated for office:
William “Bill” Simpson-Chef de Gare, Cheryl Christopher- Chef de Train, Robert “Bear” Wilkinson- Aumonier and Commis Voyageur, Bill Struber- Garde de la Porte, Mike Hansford-Lampiste, David Schoonover-Conducteur, Brian Cecil- Advocate, Bob Wilson- Medicine, Charlie Spegilmire- Publiste.

Our next Promenade will be June 22, 2010. Come out and show support to the newly elected officers. Without your support in the upcoming events, could cause a BLACK mark on the greatest VOITURE I believe there is in the state.

Other events for May….
VA Hospital Visit—9th— Come join us in our monthly visit to our veterans who are in the hospital. We will depart from the Post around 6:15. Only had four(4) volunteers last month. The more the merrier so that we can spend more time in the rooms of our Veterans.

Southlands Dixie Meeting-10th

For the good of the Voiture
