Hello from the Chef de Gare,

September came and went and all those that attended our Annual picnic out at Short Stay really had a good time. Friday night under the Pavilion was great with music and fellowship. Could not have asked for better weather. Saturday was even better with all the good food that was provided for all to enjoy. Ladies I thank you for all you did in support of the picnic. As usual "BEAR" did a fantastic job with the music and karaoke.

As stated in the last newsletter we have a full schedule ahead of us for the remaining Voiture year. Please plan on attending your Promenade for more info. I will be updating all I can through the newsletter.

Next up is Joint Carolinas to be held January 20th-23rd. We are planning this now. Our next meeting will be Oct. 17th at 1:00pm at the post. For more info you can go on our website.

We are also in the planning stages for our BIG event in April 2011 and that is SOUTHLAND'S DIXIE PROMENADE. Our next committee meeting will be held Oct 21st at 8:00 pm at the post.(following steak night). Committee chairperson, please mark your calendar to attend.

Our next Promenade will be October 26th. Hope to see you there. Just beware of all the ghost and BLACK witches of Halloween.

Just a reminder for all GRANDE OFFICERS: Officers call will be held a Murrell's Inlet Voiture 1354 at the American Legion Post 178. Finance and Executive board meeting at 10:00 am. General Membership at 1:00 pm.

Time to renew your dues for 2011. Renew early and avoid the rush. Lets get 100% membership .
