Thanks for the update. My leave is approved for that week, & Sheniqua can't wait to return, she's homesick. She don't care for my red socks either. Mark S. Palomar V1406.

Mark, Mark - I heard that you wanted to be wrecked in Goose Creek this year. Is this true? If so, let me know so I can set it up. See attached instructions if you want to do this.

Brian...I was Actively Wrecked in Perris CA, by Old School High Passers, & after Perris, What happens in Perris, Stays in Perris, it was a pretty long Wreck to say the least. I became the Human Souffle & pretty much their brand of humor & fun paralell with the Gator Wreck . So having said that, I appreciate the offer, but I'll pass. One Wreck is enough. Hell, after I attended the Gator Wreck last year, upon returning, my Liver got a Restraining Order against me.

Yeah, I'm sure the "boys" in the bar would love to see me wear my Kilt on Friday the 15th, if I decide to wear my Kilt (sans Red Socks) the ladies on the other hand find it more masculine, dashing, & it does make a Lad appear more approachable.
I guess it has something to do with the way the pleats sway to & fro, but I take my Kilt(s) quite seriously. Oh, one word of caution I like to enlighten those who ask the perverbiial question; Men should NEVER ask what is under a Man's Kilt. This question is reserved for the ladies. It's an ettiquette thing. Yeah, sure I get some snickers & comments, but overall I get more compliment. Wear my Kilt You Ask?...maybe I will, maybe I won't. With the Kilt , the Hose, Sporran, & stuff, it can be a
bit of a challenge when trying to travel with carry on.

Check out FaceBook, there are a couple pics I took from last year's wreck.
Best to all of you, looking forward to seeing all of you soon.

Thanks for clearing that up. Dave Hill told me that you wanted to get wrecked, and as the Wreck Chairman, I wasn't aware of it. As for what is under your kilt - I don't even want to think about it. Shhh Eh?

See you in May.

Ahh...Dave Hill (NO, I"M DAVE HILL!) does have a sense of humor, that Sunday
afternoon in the Clubroom a bit of a Blurrr, it was mentioned to me about
getting re-wrecked Goose Creek style, I took a little ribbing from the guys,
but a lot of fun just the same.

Yeah I guess being From California & those Red Socks
made me an easy target. Well, I learned that a lot of our
Voyageurs from here who wore their red socks to
Promenade Nationale drew similar & interesting comments.

The comeraderie & the generous hospitality
is why I like Goose Creek American Legion 166 & Voiture 1067.
I'm looking forward to my next visit. I hope to get there early on
Friday the 15th.

Doc Out Cheers

Not sure what you are talking about. Bear didn't do it last year. We had Howie D, which will be doing it again this year.

Cheers

Voyageurs of 1067; Again, y'all out did yourselves! Great Food, Great Fun, Great Hospitality, Great Comeraderie.
Thank You again for the best time! I especially want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the guys at the end of the bar on Sunday, I apologize for leaving early, but I was getting a ride from a friend. I promise next year I'll wear those damn RED SOCKS!!! And...to show my appreciation for showing me a great time, I will bring a Special Gift to Brian Cecil...Yep, a new pair of red socks! I think all of you can agree, he would look really cool wearing them!

Goose Creek Post 166 & Voiture 1067 ROCKS!!! Y'all are undoubtedly the BEST!!!

Doc (MARK-MARK) out
