Hey I'm glad you're here.

I am a newbie when it comes to Forums and all of the stuff that goes on "under the hood." This software is open source and free, so I decide to use it to see if we can have a Virtual Promenade if you will.

You will notice that the Forum is plain vanilla, and I hope that as I learn and implement stuff, it gets better. There are a few things that you may wonder about. Don't feel alone. I do not have all of the answers yet, but as I learn, I will try and post it as I can. If you know anthing about "Yet Another Forum" please let me know under the Forum Ideas Discussion.


Let me explain Rank. This is what rank means:

Prissonaire De Guerre = New Guy starts when you join the forum
Voyageur Militaire = Obtained when you have made 10 posts
Lampiste = Starts at 25 posts
Garde De La Porte = Starts at 50 posts
Conducteur = Starts at 100 posts
Chef De Train = Starts at 200 posts
Chef De Gare = Starts at 500 posts
Grand Chef De Gare = Starts at 750 posts
Sous Chef De Chemin De Fer = Starts at 1000 posts
Chef De Chemin De Fer = Starts at 2000 posts

I may change this later depending on how the board is going, but I think this is a good start. It is here to encourage posting. But rememebr Quality is much better than quantity.
