POW/MIA Survivors Scholarship Trust Fund
So many fates are left unknown
And so many rumors that abound
So many families ask the question
“When will, the answers be found?”
So many years have come and gone
Sometimes, hope is hard to keep
There’s some who feel there’s none
And in some, it’s buried deep.
The pain, is in not knowing
How, to put loved ones’ to rest
When there is no way to prove
They have passed, the final test.
But, no matter what the answers
We can’t let this cause alone
Until, each and every one of them
Is found, and brought back home

POW/MIA Program
The POW/MIA Scholarship Trust Fund is a Survivors Trust and should not be confused with any other POW/MIA Programs associated with the American Legion or VFW. It is not restricted to American Legion or Forty & Eight members, but it is open to all bonified POW/MIAs. The MIA has not had the luxury to choose which Veteran's organization he or she wants to join, and so this fund is open to all survivors that meet the eligibility requirements regardless of affiliation.
Fundraising
Fundraising is accomplished primarily by the sale of POW/MIA shirts, pins, ball caps, and decals. Goose Creek Voiture 1067 is proactive in POW/MIA Fundraising. If you are interested in purchasing POW/MIA items, or if you would like to make a donation to the Forty & Eight POW/MIA Scholarship Trust Fund, please contact Brian Cecil at bcecil@bellsouth.net.
